Isamu Noguchi – Brilliant Designer of Noguchi Table
Noguchi table, the work of designer Isamu Noguchi, is very well known. Many fans of the table come from all over the world. But you know who is Isamu Noguchi? He born from a Japanese poet father and writer mother of a Scottish – American, on the 17th of November 1904. Isamu Noguchi is known to be very intelligent, articulate, and sensitive. He is magic. For World War II, at the dark period of U.S. history, he voluntarily entered the relocation camps for Japanese-Americans in Arizona. For seven months he could not get permission to go from the camp.
“I’m finally free,” said Isamu Noguchi once released from the camp. He then decided to become an artist only.

Their relationship came when Isamu Noguchi’s designs are used to illustrate an article written by George Nelson titled “How to Create Table.” The design of Noguchi coffee table was introduced in 1947 and reissued in 1984.

Not only the Noguchi coffee table. A lot of good furniture design has been created by Isamu Noguchi. In 1948, for example, he produced the first couch, an incorporating overstuffed sofa with metal legs and a smooth flow freely.
Knoll Associated produced Noguchi stools between 1954. The stools really shook a little in all directions. It is made of two wooden circular plates attached with stainless steel dowel. Feces production stopped in 1959, but was revived recently by the Noguchi Museum Store. All of Isamu Noguchi’s furniture is biomorphic in nature.
