A group led by Hilco Merchant Resources and Gordon Brothers Retail Partners Borders began the process of selling goods’ and furniture in all stores, said Gordon Brothers, a spokesman for Craig Venezia. A spokesman for Borders said it still hoped to reach agreement on the sale of the company. The goal is to save 1,500 of the nearly 11,000 workers in the Borders.

But certainly, most Borders stores will close retail business activity in many major shopping. Borders also plans to conduct a separate tender process to find a taker for as much rent as possible.
